Internships

Camp Interns will gain leadership experience while continuing to build musical skills, make new friends, and help us further the GR!R Mission.

Interns Must:

  • Be age 17 or 18 at the start of camp.
  • Have attended one of our programs*
  • Demonstrate responsibility, reliability, and a dedication to the mission of Girls Rock! Rochester.
  • Attend a Peer Mentor training session before camp.
  • Attend the volunteer training the Sunday before camp.
  • Help with move-in and showcase.
*Exceptions may be made for the right candidate.

Saturday Showcase

Interns will be required to help out during showcase on the Saturday following camp.
This year's showcase will be at Flour City Station from 11-4pm.

Position Availability

There are a limited number of Camp Intern positions for each session of camp. We’ll be conducting interviews with applicants on a rolling basis until positions are filled.
